Wedding Videographer – Elaine and Gavin – 6’th December 2013

I was the pleasure of been the official wedding Videographer for Elaine and Gavin on 6’th December 2013. I started filming at Elaine’s house in Firhouse were Elaine was having her make up finished off by Marie Joseph.

Susan Thompson from Circus Photography was the wedding photographer on the day, she is a well renowned photographer and she had Emma doing some candid shots.

It was a civil Ceremony being held at the wonderful Glenview Hotel, Elaine arrived in a lovely Bentley from Absolute Limos.

The Celebrant was Emma Sides from the Humanist Association, she has a lovely way with the ceremony and makes people feel so much at ease.

The music was sung by Lindsey along with pianist Shane from a band that I have seen and heard many times called Santoria, they were booked to perform else were that night so they sung for them at the ceremony.

The Glenview Hotel put on a lovely day and as you know the setting in the wonderful county of Wicklow is a most sought after venue, Sabrina looked after everything on the day with military precision.

The wedding band for the night were Pick up the Pieces better know in the trade as the Fitzafrenic.

It was a great day and I look forward to meeting Elaine and Gavin when their wedding DVD’s are ready.

Corporate Videographer – St. Michaels’ Christmas Concert – 4’th December 2013

 

I had the pleasure of filming St Michael’s Christmas concert on 4’th December 2013.

The sound was perfect and done by none other than Megan from CAVS

It was a fantastic show and all the hard work paid off, the pupils put on a great show and were a credit to their families and teachers, they were all very well entertained.

The play put is all in the Christmas spirit and I will have the copies for all children to look at so they can see the quality of their work for themselves.

Happy Christmas to all the families and staff at St Michael’s.

Wedding Videographer – Amy and Paul – 30’th November 2013

I had the pleasure of been the wedding Videographer for the lovely Amy Yin Zang and Mr. Paul Monaghan on 30’th November 2013.

I started filming early at The Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin were all the preparations for the traditional Chinese tea ceremony were taking place,  this is a very important part of the day and is attended by both sets of parents.

Declan and Valerie were the wedding planners and they had the day running like clockwork.

Barry Regan was the wedding photographer on the day and as you will know his work is excellent and he is a pleasure to work with.

I then headed to the University Church on St Stephens Green to await the arrival of Amy in her magnificent dress, she was stunning and her dress was spectacular.

The celebrant was Fr. Laurence Collins who was lovely and he really added to the ceremony.

We were entertained by The Alpha Quartet who were playing wonderful pieces at the church and at the reception.

In the evening we were entertained by a lovely 3 girl band called Bugle Babes.

It was a great day and I look forward to meeting Amy and Paul when their wedding DVD’s are ready.

Wedding Videographer – Hayley and Paul – 23’rd November 2013

 

I had the pleasure of been the official wedding videographer for the society wedding of Hayley Rock and Paul Elliott on 23’rd November 2013.

I started filming at The Kilashee House Hotel in Nass Co. Kildare were the girls all six of them were getting ready. It was a bit manic with them being models including the stunning Rosanna Davison but quite entertaining with all the usual final preparations going on.

The wedding photographer was Jenny Mc Carthy and she is a very well sought after photographer in the modelling world.

I then headed to the Church of the Lady & St Joseph in Caragh Co Kildare, it is a very nice church were we had well over 200 guests arriving for the ceremony. The celebrant was Fr. Ruairi O’ Domhniall who was lovely in both services and manner, nothing was a problem and everybody was enjoying his great sense of humour.

The church music was sung beautifully by Lorna Kennedy from Musa and a very special song sung by Frank Breslin.

After arriving back at the hotel we were entertained by Tropical Storm a Philippines group that entertain the crowd with there magic blends of music. The Speeches were very humorous and the staff at Killashee House Hotel were outstanding.

The wedding band were brilliant and they were lead by Scott Magher and Fergus Nolan and then the great DJ Mr Darragh O’ Dea who had them rocking into the early hours of the morning

It was a great day and I look forward to meeting Haley and Paul when their wedding DVD’s are ready.

Wedding Videographer Dublin – Katina and John – 6’th October 2013

 

I had the pleasure of been the wedding videographer at the wedding of Katina and John on 5’th October 2013.
I started filming at Katinas’s house and it was a full house with all the usual final preparations going on.

Dave Moore was the wedding photographer on the day, he is a very well sought after photographer and was snapping away, there was great excitement in the house.
I then headed to the Knightsbrook Hotel were the ceremony and wedding reception was taking place.

The room was  magnificent and done by Linda and her team from Atmosphere, they always do a great job and provide the wow factor.

I met John and all his pals and they were there meeting and greeting the guests.
Katina arrived in a car from ATT Cars Caroline, Sinead and the GM Patrick were there to greet Katina.

The celebrant on the day was from Tom Colton, he was so helpful and was a joy to work with  and the singing was just magical.

After dinner we had a surprise from the bridal party who entertained us to a spectacular dance.
It was a great day and I look forward to meeting Katina and John when their wedding DVD’s are ready.

Leixlip Manor Hotel Wedding Fair – 6’th October 2013

 

I was out at the wedding show case in the lovely Leixlip Manor on Sunday 6’th October 2013 were I had the pleasure of meeting several couples who were planning their weddings for 2014.

Leixlip Manor is possibly the most quaint spot for the most intimate of weddings in Dublin, all the couples are personally looked after by Leslie. When you enter the gates and travel up the tree lined avenue of the Leixlip Manor and Gardens you are immediately taken aback by the peace and tranquillity of the venue. Leslie, Niamh and her team were on hand to look after everyone with provide refreshments through out the day.

There was a great atmosphere and most of the couples were already booked in for the coming year, there were a lot of suppliers to choose from. The wedding band  5th Avenue were playing and kept everyone entertained, even the suppliers.

My stand was across from Mr Eric Ronan is a well sought after photographer, he has a great personality and is well thought of in the trade and couples love him, he also has the photo booth.

Patricia and Dee from Dress and Dreams were there and they had a lovely selection of dresses and accessories,

Aston H Formal were there to suit and booth the lads. Ann Tuite also entertained with her harp.

Cakes and Co were showing off a lovely selection of cake, the choc biscuit cake samples ran out everyone was going back for seconds and Terry from Gold Cars had a selection of cars to view outside.

It was a great day.

Wedding Videographer – Emma and Patrick – 20’th September 2013.

I was the official wedding videographer at the wedding of Emma and Patrick on 20’th September 2013. I started filming at the church of St Patrick’s in the lovely town of Donabate, the ceremony was lovely and the church music played by expert Harpist Deirdre Seaver was beautiful and really added to the ceremony.

The wedding reception was in the Waterside Hotel so we got some lovely shots at the beach, we had the drinks reception at the beach bar and there is not many places you can do that in Ireland, this really is a great location for a hotel. The wedding photographer was Paddy Burke and he is by far one of the best photographers out there.

The wedding band were the fabulous Jack to Jack who kept the crowd entertained for the night.

It was a great day and I look forward to talking to Emma and Patrick when their wedding DVD’s are ready.

Seafield Hotel Wedding Fair – 22’nd September 2013

I had a great stand as wedding videographer at the wedding fair at the Seafield Golf and Spa Hotel in Ballymoney, Co Wexford on Sunday 22’nd September 2013.

 


There was a great flow of couples been shown around the various rooms set up to cater for all wedding occasions by the very professional Kate and PJ, the wedding marquee was set up spectacularly by Leita and Wendy the Wedding Doctors, they specialise in antique center pieces on the tables and they looked fantastic.

Some of the other suppliers that were there were, Vicky from Magical Events who had a lovely chocolate fountain and the couples were helping themselves to the many choices of fruits and marshmallows that were there for dipping into the chocolate.

The great wedding photographer Andrew Miller, Arklows no 1 wedding photographer had a lots of wedding albums on display,  Dave Whelan from Pro DJ’sJack Dunne Formal Wear who can dress you out in anything including a kilt.

 


 

Karen From Murhan Events who caters for all you chair cover and table accessories,   I have seen some of their work over the past few years and they do a great job and are so nice to deal with, they are that good that I hired them myself for my own wedding and they were brilliant.

Jean from Hats by Jean had a wonderful selection of Hats for the wedding guests and the mother of the bride.

There was a fabulous selection of cars the baby Bentley and a Chrysler 300 from weddingcar.ie.

The wedding fair was a great chance to meet new couples and the other suppliers, The Seafield Hotel is an amazing venue and PJ and the team really do a great job as they did for my own wedding there in April.

Tulfarris Hotel Wedding Fair – 15’th September 2013

I had a stand at the wedding fair in the Tulfarris Hotel and Golf Club in the lovely Co Wicklow on Sunday 15’th September 2013, I had the pleasure of meeting several couples who were planning their wedding’s there for 2014 and 2015.
There were many couples being shown around the various rooms set up to cater for all wedding occasions by the Tulfarris wedding team. There was a great atmosphere and it was a great opportunity for all the suppliers to answer any questions and queries the wedding couples had for us.

B Couture had lovely dresses for all the ladies and Neon Stephens Green were there to kit out the men.

Mary from Finesse was there, I have seen some of her work over the past few years and she is so gifted in how she can turn a room into a fairy tale wedding. I had the pleasure of filming her own wedding a few years ago and it was lovely to catch up with her.

There were some lovely cakes to sample by Creative Cakes. You had your choice of florist, there was

Oasis Florist and Flowers by Enda and they both had a lovely selection of flowers to choose from.

Mr Jim Schofield was also the wedding Photographer next to myself Cyril from Video Me.
Lawler Chauffers were outside showing a lovely selection of cars. The wedding band Perfect Day were showing the couples there outstanding work.

 

You had a choice of sweet treats, Chocolate Fountain Station and The Little Closet had some lovely treats.

Tulfarris Treatments were available for any questions re hair and make up.


The wedding fair was a great chance to meet new couples and the other supplier in the wedding industry.

Wedding Videographer Dublin – Arlene and Aonghus – 13’th September 2013

I was the official wedding videographer up in Stradhill Sligo for the wedding of Arlene Gibbs and Aonghus Collins on 13’th September 2013. I started filming at the lovely St Patrick’s church were Fr Donal Sweeney, Fr John and Fr Niall Ahern looked after us and were very welcoming.

The church music was lovely and sung by Aonghus’s dad, Mr Hugh Collins and he was joined by Geraldine Molumby and Liam Molumby, they did a brilliant job and really added to the atmosphere of the ceremony.

I headed to the beach to see a few surfers doing their stuff and to add a bit of footage to compliment the wedding DVD.
The drinks reception was in the lovely beach bar adjacent to Aughris beach,  the wonderful Rockhouse Pilfer band entertained us all and got the party started.

The wedding reception was in a teppe tent from a company in the North of Ireland called Tentip it was the most spectacular thing I have ever seen.

Francis Muldoon was the wedding photographer on the day, she is by far one of the most conscientious, excellent and courteous lady you could meet.

Everyone had a great day and I look forward to chatting to Arlene and Aonghus when their wedding DVD’s are ready.
