Wedding Videographer for Leonie and Michael – 16’th April 2011

I was out on the wedding of Leonie Bowes & Michael Barry on Saturday the 16th of April, I started in Leonies House with the 4 bridesmaid there was no stress, Leonie was taking it all in her stride.

The groom is a member of the army, it was very fitting with the church and the grounds of Arbour Hill. It’s worth taking time to visit this church, a beautiful building. The army Chaplin David Tyndal had some nice words to say about Michael on his over seas duties.

The groom was in army uniform and the bride was in a beautiful white wedding dress with the tricolour as the backdrop.

The reception was in the Castleknock Hotel and they pulled out all the stops for this couple. They had a great afternoon and evening. The couple’s son was pageboy and did an excellent job. I am sure his parents were very proud of him.

We all had a great day and danced the night away to the fabulous music of the excellent Hard To Touch.

Good luck

Cyril Fox.

We headed to the famous Powerscourt were they were waiting to receive us and special thanks to Josh and Annette from Feast Catering who had everything running like clockwork.

Wedding Videographer for Ann Marie and Ernie – 1’st April 2011

I videoed the wedding of Ann Marie Mc Gettrick & Ernie Leslie on Friday 1’st April 2011, in the Keadeen it was a civil ceremony and the place was beautiful.

The wedding started with Ernie making the finer arrangements with the Registrar and their wedding reception organizer Joe who had everything running smoothly.

We had the Registrar, Bernadette Jacob who was very nice and made it very easy for me to facilitate the recording of the ceremony. We then had Fr Jimmy Doyle who added the church touch with a short service of his own, it was a lovely service. The music was just out of this world and the Magnolia room in the Keadeen was stunning to add to the fantastic atmosphere.

The day was not bad a little cool so most of the pictures were taken indoors by Val Sheen a colleague of the groom who did a lovely job.

We then danced the night away.

We all had a fabulous day.

Yours sincerely,

Cyril Fox

I was filming the wedding of Donna Cooper & Alan Davis on Thursday 6th January 2011, my second wedding of the New Year.

I worked with a new photographer from Drogheda called Nikki Mc Donnell, a lovely person.

The weather was a little on the cold side but that made no difference to the happy event and everyone was having a lovely time. The good family and friends all 120 of them had a great time and the crack was mighty, Laura the banqueting manager from the hotel was on top of everything all through the day.

We had the wonderful band called Electric Avenue and they don’t let up, they have you dancing from start to finish, what a band they must be one of the most professional wedding bands I have seen in a long time.

We all had a great day.

The day started at Claudette’s house were her sisters Terri-Sue, Sile and her good friend Annette Burke were getting ready, we had plenty of snow on the ground and all went perfect considering the weather. it was the worst weather we have got in December in nearly 20 years.

I had to leave Dublin on Thursday at 11.30am to make sure that the snow would not stop me getting there, I stayed over in Ballina a short distance from Claudette’s house.

The church was in the main street of Cross Molina Called St Tiernan’s we had a wonderful priest Fr. Des Kelly who had been in that parish for several years and came back to officiate at the wedding.

We had lovely music in the church provided by Sinead Conway & Kieran Quinn.

We had the Photography done by Ciaran Duignan he is only new to the wedding industry and was very pleasant to work with, he also has a lovely studio in Claudette’s home town of Crossmolina.

When we arrived at the hotel Brodhaven Bay Hotel we were welcomed by General Manager David Tyrell, he made sure the rest of the day went as planned and it ran like clockwork, we all had a great night with music by the great band The Conquerors.

We had a late night and I had to stay again, the hotel was booked out so I stayed local in Drum Caoin B & B, the weather was still below freezing -7.
