Wedding Videographer for Clodagh and John – 27’th December 2010

I was out on the wedding of Clodagh Mc Cabe & John Elliffe on Monday last, 27th December in the Church of The Nativity in Saggart, I have worked in that church many times and I only live a few miles away.

The church was beautiful with its large Christmas tree and a lovely crib just in front of the alter, Fr Michael Shortall was excellent and was accommodating in every way, the mass and ceremony were very personal and the atmosphere was added with the lovely music from Claire Malone & Dave Russell.

Myself and the photographer Viv Van Der Holst were made feel very welcome.

I started at the church and the first to arrive were John, best man Alan and the groomsman Michael.

The day was lovely and it made a change with no snow that we had all been getting used to, we went then to the lovely Lyrath Estate in Kilkenny only an hour from Dublin well that is with the new motorway ha ha….

The staff could not have been nicer from start to finish

We all had a fabulous day

Yours sincerely

Wedding Videographer for Elizabeth and Colm – 29’th October 2010

Video Me, Weddings, Weddings Dublin, Videography

I was out at the wedding of Elizabeth Kavanagh & Colm Wall on Friday 29th October in the lovely church of Kimmage Manor and then to the Hamlet Court Hotel. The wedding started with the girls getting ready in Elizabeth’s house were there was a great atmosphere.

We had a lovely ceremony and the Music they chose was lovely, the singer was Alan Brereton and a girl singer from a new band called the Black Knights band.

The weather was the worst day we’d had for a long time, it rained all day and was so disappointing Eva Powerwas looking after the pictures she had her work cut out but she got everything and was a true professional.

I myself had to take a different style of shooting due to the weather.

The weather did not put a dampener on the day and all their family and friends were having a great time.

The Hamlet Court Hotel was great as usual and we were looked after by John and Mo who were on top of everything. We had the wonderful lads from the band Black Knights and they didn’t let up, they had you dancing from start to finish.

I met up with Judith and Lawrence who’s wedding I did a few years ago, you can have a quick look at their wedding on Judith and Lawrence Wedding video.

It was also great to meet Clare and Ultan who’s wedding I did in February 2009.

We all had a great day despite the rain.

Yours sincerely

Cyril Fox.

Cyril Fox - Video Me - Wedding Day VideosThe wedding of the year in Drogheda was Janice Thornton & Aaron Dunne on Saturday the 9th of October. It started at Janice’s house where Janice and the girls were getting ready, no panic or nerves all went perfect.

The church was in the main street of Drogheda Called St Maryís we had a wonderful priest Fr. Martin Carley who had been in that parish for several years but is now in PP in Rahan Co Offaly but came back to officiate at their wedding.

We had lovely music in the church provided by someone I had not heard of before Niamh Sherin Barry from Monarserboice Co Louth she was really lovely.

Cyril Fox - Video Me - Weedding Day VideosThe reception was being held in Trim so it was only a short drive, we stopped of at The Friary of St. John the Baptist, the remains of a 13th century Augustinian monastery for pictures, what a place, it’s peaceful and the scene is right out of the past with Barry Mulvey a good friend of Aaron’s who was the photographer, he is only new to the wedding industry.

When we arrived at Castle Arch Hotel the General Manager, Shirley Brady was on hand to make sure the rest of the day went as planned and it did. Aaron gave Shirley a special mention at the speeches.

Everything ran like clockwork and we all had a great night with music by the Great Escape.

We all had a great day.

Yours sincerely

Wedding Videographer for Margaret and Des – 3’rd September 2010

I was out on the wedding of Margaret and Des on Friday 3’rd September in the

K club, it was a civil ceremony and the place was beautifully laid out, the flowers were done by the team at Mad Flowers I also did the owner of that same company’s wedding several years ago.

The music was just out of this world and in the grand room in the K Club it sounded just perfect, Wendy Power, Kay Lynch and Deirdre Masterson from the Irish Sopranos. We had the Registrar who was very nice and made it very easy for us to take pictures through out the short ceremony, the Photographer on the day was PJ Mc McCormack and his lovely wife Mc Cormack from imaging Studio.

The wedding started with Margaret and her bridesmaid Kay getting ready in the presidential suite and Des making t he finer arrangements with Susie Hopkins the wedding event coordinator in the K Club Susie was so well thought of that she received several mentions at the speeches and was also presented with a bouquet of flowers.

The day was the best summers day for a long time the pictures were taken in the lovely gardens in the K Club and we had the reception up in the Arnold Palmer Suite, all went perfect and they had two Latin American dancers from The Carlow Academy of dance and then we the wonderful

Conor Mc Keown who’s band are one of the best around and to top it all we had a powerful Fire Works display.

We all had a spectacular.
