I was the official wedding videographer at the wedding of Lorraine and Daragh on 21'st April 2012.

I stayed the previous evening in the Longford Arms Hotel, I wanted to be close to the venue as I had driven from Westport where I had been filming a wedding the day before.

I started at the Sacred Heart Church in Kilmainham getting coverage of all the lovely flowers and the interior of the church. I was there as Dara and the guest's were arriving and awaiting the arrival of the beautiful Lorraine.

The wedding photographer was Paula O' Hara from Lurgan and wow she did a great job and got some lovely shots.

We set off for the wedding reception in the wonderful Cabra Castle and as always everything ran like clock work.

In the evening we had the wonderful wedding band Wild Cats they were brilliant and had a great way with the crowd, if you need a band do check them out they had the crowd up dancing for the night.

I look forward to talking to Lorraine and Daragh when the wedding DVD's are ready.

The Wedding Day Showcase of the year was on Sunday 23rd October 2011 in the Springfield Hotel, I had a stand at the showcase representing Wedding Videography.

I had the pleasure of meeting several couples who were planning there wedding's, there was a great crowd and any couple who booked their wedding and paid a deposit were entered into a draw for a free wedding in the Springfield Hotel, so, as you can imagine the tensions were high waiting on the result, Congratulations to the winning couple.

The air was electric and all the couples were busy chatting to all the suppliers who were there, all the suppliers were there giving free advice and tips to everyone.

The Springfield Hotel put a lot of work into the day and a big thanks to the banqueting team Barry O' Sullivan and Kathleen Halbrook for having everything working like clock work, a big thanks also to the owner Ger Hannigan who put up the prize of a free wedding.

The backdrops and chair coverings were stunning and they were done by Fiona from Candle Light Weddings.

There were a lot of suppliers at the Showcase, The Wedding Photographers were Paddy Burke from Burke Photography and Paul Andrews from Paul Andrews Photography and yes myself Cyril Fox from Video Me as the Wedding Videographer.

The wedding bands were John from the On The Upside Band who plays regularly there for weddings and Matt & Ronan from the Boogie Wonderland and outside you had Terry Flanagan showing a lovely selection of Gold Cars and he has now added a silver addition Beauford.

And not forgetting Bernadette Kennelly and her wonderful Creation Wedding Cakes, you can contact Bernie by email berniekennelly@hotmail.com

The showcase was nail biting for many.

I was the wedding videographer in Dublin for Linda Gaffney and Robert Ellis last Saturday 15'th October, I started at the

Oblets Church in Inchicore, it is a lovely ornate church and all the more lovely with the stunning flower arrangements done by Elegant Flowers in Swords.

I was at the church when Robert and the lads arrived, they were in great form and eagerly waiting on Linda who arrived in a Gold Regent 1920's style Regent Landaulette driven by Terry from Gold and Silver Limos.

Father Pat Carolan who was very nice and made the wedding ceremony very intimate and moving and he allowed us to take pictures through out the long ceremony.

The church music was just out of this world and sung beautifully by Joanna Charles, the songs were so touching and the fact that the songs were hand picked by Linda only added to the ceremony.

I was there with Ruth O' Callaghan from TLC photography she is a great wedding photographer to work with and has a very relaxed approach to her photographs.

On our arrival at Dunboyne Castle we were met by Tom Breen and John Ryan who looked after the couple and their guests and ensured that there was nothing they needed, it all went perfectly.

The weather was lovely as it had been for the last few days and we got some pictures taken in the lovely gardens at Dunboyne Castle.

As for the Band we had none other than the Fabulous Jonnie Be Good who after many years in the trade still have the edge on knowing how to keep the night going and your guest's feet sore from dancing.

This was the second day in a row I had the pleasure of working in Dunboyne Castle and they were both fantastic days.
